Years ago I heard this quote, it is forever burned in my mind. I love photography, I love seeing the raw emotion and the feeling behind people. Its amazing to capture a moment. To have a piece of it forever.
My name is Jessica Huwa. I am a wife, mother, business woman and photographer. Most of my life I have had a camera in my hand. I still have rolls of film from my childhood that is undeveloped and I’m sure it will stay that way. In high school I met a teacher that forever changed my world, she introduced me to a dark room and gave me the fundamental knowledge of photography. For years photography has been a hobby of mine and decided to pursue my dreams of furthering my education by attending New York Institute of Photography. After school I turned my hobby into a business and have never looked back.
I live in Northern Colorado where the outdoors are the most amazing backdrops you could imagine. I love meeting new people and getting to hear their stories. I have a special place in my heart for high school students, I volunteer at my local youth group and senior portriats are my favorite. I was born and raised around a plethera of animals and enjoy spending my free time with my dogs and horses.
